Saturday Breakfast

The weather since we moved has been ‘interesting’ as in, sunny but not hot, or just plain rainy, oh and a week ago we had gale force wind and no one slept for 3 days because it sounded like the house was going blow away!!

Half decent weather is promised for the Bank Holiday weekend (although as I type this its actually starting to drizzle) and when we woke up this morning it was beautifully sunny. In the hour it took us to get ready (pretty good going considering there’s 6 of us!) it had started to cloud over so we thought we better get out quick.

A quick stop at Lidl, which here in Ireland is actually much nicer than some of its UK counterparts, for some bakery fresh croissants and danish pastries and we were on our way. The destination was Coosan Point, which turns out is only about 10/15 minutes drive away from us on the banks of Lough Ree.

Seriously, how lucky are we to have this 10 minutes from our house?! We found a perfect breakfast spot and broke out the goodies!haha! Next time we have to remember a flask of coffee for mummy and daddy though.

Of course the ducks wanted to see what we had to offer..

Somebody is getting to be a real big girl now 🙂

We cant wait to come back here in the summer, if we ever get one that is!!! Oh and yes – I have already sacked off any dreams of having a caravan, I now want a vintage boat instead!!!
