Right now……. (September edition)

….I am kind of in a bit of a blog funk. I got nominated for an Irish Blog Award! woohoo – see button over there >>> but the new website is coming along so I’m kind of in this middle ground where I want to write but Im conscious that anything I put here will eventually have to be uploaded to the new site too (which isnt finished yet). Im also missing summer and trying to get back into the cooking/cleaning/washing routine. You can read that as ‘trying to catch up on all the housework I completely abandoned during the summer holidays’.

….There are about 500 selfies on my new iPhone thanks to Vivi, who is in the terrible twos and will cry unless I indulge her selfie habit.  Super lazy parenting right, but its pretty cute, and I just want to add that we do lots of other non selfie related activities as well.

……Cora is one month away from being ONE YEAR OLD. Wait, what??? Yeah I know, where did that time go??? She is still lacking in the hair department, which just adds to her cuteness. She is also doing pretty awesomely in the cruising round furniture stakes and loves following her siblings around the house.

….Luis started back at school in Third Class/ Year 4 in English years. Can you believe?! His school bag weighs a ton, and he has loads and loads of homework but so far so good. He is liking being back and having his brain active again. He also won an award at the Moate Agri Show for a picture he drew, and is loving being back soccer training.

……Maxi started First Class/Year 2. His favourite time of the school day is ‘break time’ closely followed by ‘home time’, I feel it may take a while for this one to get into the whole homework thing, but we will get there soon enough. Plus I bribe him with cookies and milk every day after school and we get through it with minimal mistakes or meltdowns!!! He is looking very grown up and I’m finding it hard to believe that this school year he turns 7.

….The boys are loving Golf. They both have clubs and did a three day golf camp last month which they LOVED. They go once a week to practice their technique and Mr Clev enjoys the chance to get up to the driving range and relieve some stress. Amelie also goes with her little wooden golf club and likes to join in. It is a relatively new sport for the Clevs but one that everyone is enjoying, so long may it continue.

…..Another shameless first day of school photo. Ah I love these boys of mine!

….My sister is staying for pretty much most of September (and next week we are off to see First Aid Kit in Dublin!whooooooop!!!!!!!) so I am baking up a storm and trying all sorts of ‘gooten fwee’ recipes. I have also set a back to school resolution that I will send my children with something home made in their lunch box every day. So far so good and my freezer is pretty well stocked with treats too so this resolution should run at least until February!!!!

….Amelie is back at preschool up to 5 days a week. She is pretty tired every day when she comes home. She is also full of chat all about new songs and friends and stories she has learned. Ive spoken before about how AWESOME her preschool is, the setting is perfect and there is a healthy appreciation for nature and the seasons and generally being healthy and going outside. In short – I love it and so does Amelie. I have confidence all three of my girls will thrive there when their time comes.

…..Amelie got 2 ‘first day’ photos. The second was actually her second day but the original first day photo didn’t save to my iphone properly so I thought I didn’t have one and made her re do the pose with the board right outside her school like a really embarrassing parent. However Mr Clev soon informed me that the real first day photo was actually on the iCloud and all I had to do was back up something or other blah blah blah. Two first day photos for the win right???

…..I am reading the book ‘Get Sh*t done’ and really enjoying it. Life handed me a bit of a kick up the backside a few weeks ago that has made me reassess friendships and generally where we are with the whole house thing and what we are doing and where we are headed. The business is still in its infancy but very exciting and Mr Clev is certainly enjoying it. I am finding the work/home/kids/blog balance pretty dicey at the moment but am getting there gradually and increasing productivity. I am really enjoying the book and gradually getting systems in place and ‘getting shit done’. I really recommend the book to anyone who is after a bit of a  life change, and certainly anyone who is or has just started up a business.

Ok that is the September edition of ‘Right now’. Lazy blogging but in the spirit of ‘the daily clev’ being a blog to keep our families up to date with whats happening with us this totes constitutes as a blog post of worth. Im going to keep telling myself that and it might even come true!!!

As long because you share something valuable using
your subscribers, however, you’ll still imporess upon them your need to add your relationship.
The relationships you establish may be the difference between business energy and precious time wasted.
The one who I quoted at the beginning of these tips have actually done an awesome job over thee past year and a half,

If they feel more at ease using monitors for heart, pace, and distance, that’s okay-but what Iadvise is basically that you pay attenion to your body, because it will aevise
you things that gadgets won’t, such as when and what things
tto eeat (follow your cravings), whether you’re hydrated (in case your
urine’s darker than it ought tto be, then drink), or should your electrolytes are balanced (if you have salt caked around your temples,
forr instance, then it is likely you need more salt).

Having read this I thought it was extremely informative.
I appreciate you spending some time and energy to put this
article together. I once again find myself personally spending a significant amount of time both reading and posting comments.
But so what, it was still worth it!
