I was thrilled earlier this year to participate in the Netflix Stream Team UK and Ireland, and in exchange for posts be gifted with a Netflix subscription and an Apple TV. There was great excitement in this house (mainly from my husband) when it all arrived. I have to say that as Sky customers with 2 full packages on 2 tvs I was a bit dubious about the whole streaming idea. However, The Clevs are huge Apple fans (we own pretty much every product Apple have ever invented, I blame the husband) so I was a little bit excited to experience the Apple TV.
It is really easy to set up, the Apple box looks pretty swish sat under the TV and even with my pretty limited tech experience I was able to connect the HDMI cable in the correct ports on the Apple box AND the TV. Wahey!!!
My only gripe is that the remote is tiny and gets lost all the time. I did find Cora chewing it the other day and can safely report that it is chew/drool resistant!!
Mr Clev and I have watched some really good documentaries, and we also caught up on the latest instalment of The Hunger Games. Am I the only person in the entire universe that isnt head over heels obsessed with Jennifer Lawrence?
The kids all love it too and have been loving watching cartoons on there on lazy weekend mornings. Now that the days are drawing in and we have had a few cold nights we have really enjoyed a few films huddled in front of the fire downstairs, or all bundled into our big bed. We all have been watching Tin Tin and are enjoying the more muted colours and less shouty in your faceness of it all (in comparison to some of the other complete crud my boys would love to watch)
In return for regular posts, I have received an Apple TV, HDMI cable, and Netflix Subscription. All opinions are my own.
