Lily Charmed

Today Im here with a review of gorgeous jewellery from Lily Charmed.

I initially heard of Lily Charmed back in 2011/12 when while living back in Surrey I purchased a ‘Queen Bee’ necklace for my sisters birthday through a daily Achica deal. I couldn’t believe the quality of the piece even full price, let alone with money off!! Needless to say I was thrilled to be part of this review.

You really feel spoilt when you open up your gift from this beautifully wrapped and presented box, its such a treat. I personalised a charm bracelet to give to a family member who also recently made her communion. I am usually good at picking age appropriate gifts for birthdays and Christmas’, and as well as being inventive with art kits and put together gifts, however for a milestone event such as a First Holy Communion or even Confirmation I prefer to give something a bit more meaningful and lasting.

I chose a bracelet with a cross charm and the child’s initial, I am already planning to add more charms to it probably for her Confirmation, 16th, 18th and 21st Birthdays. The links are delicate and dainty with a beautiful polished finish and are great value for money.

I love the make your own feature on their website, it is nice enough to gift someone such a gorgeous piece of jewellery but the personalised card and message takes it to the next level of thoughtfulness. I’m kicking myself that I didn’t pick a really nice bible quote to put on this now!!!

I am incredibly tempted to get my own bracelet or even necklace featuring the initials of all of my babies. Unlike charm bracelets where there is usually spacing between links, I love that these charms kind of bunch together and move about as you are wearing it. Its dainty and delicate which I am a big fan of and it wont date either (unlike my 18th birthday Tiffany&Co chunky charm bracelet which is old fashioned and tacky now!).

My other favourites from Lily Charmed are these.

1) Staying on the religious theme this simple cross necklace makes a great Confirmation gift, and would also look beautiful with a plain and simple wedding dress (getting miles ahead of myself but mega excited about dress shopping with 3 girlies one day!)

2) I want these, for my birthday, with a really well chosen inspirational quote on the card. Take note Mr Clev. Also I might buy these for my BFF and write ‘Wingardium Leviosa’ on the card!

3) A great gift for a new mum with the letter of babies name, or a great gift for yourself!

4) Any Leaving Cert/GCSE finisher deserves these as a little well done gift with acompanying quote about generally being a complete star for getting through exams!

Lily Charmed can be found on twitter and facebook.

They have also very kindly given all my lovely readers a discount code, enter DAILYCLEV at checkout for 10% off at the checkout until the 30th July, so hurry up and get buying people!!!
