100 points to the first person to name the song that’s from!
So my plan the last 3 weeks was to have a baby. Yeah that’s not happened and it’s my due date on Thursday. I’ve not seen a due date since I had Luis.
Thought I would post about life since my last post.
Amelie’s birthday was October 6th. We had my Dad and step mum here and my nan too for a Sunday roast dinner. I’m getting better at the roast dinners since being here, I think it’s because I have a nice big kitchen and lots of room! Plus an oven that holds more than one thing at a time!
Amelie is officially 3 years old. She is a little diva and I love her so much. I always wanted a girl and I never thought I would have one and she is everything that I wanted and more. I love how sassy she is, but sweet and loving too, even if she never sleeps!
This is Amelie just hours after being born. She was born at home and the whole thing was just beautiful and the most amazing experience ever.
She was up early on her birthday this year and downstairs where she had lots of gifts thanks to our generous family and friends. I personally hate plastic crap and try and buy presents that will last and that the others will play with too, or can be passed down. I would rather spend a bit more money on something that will last years, than the latest fad that they will be bored with soon.
Amelie’s big present this year was a wooden stable. She loves it! I think she loved it more that she has her own petal dobbin and Freddy figures to play with now. The stable was going to live upstairs in her room but it currently is living on the living room floor…win some lose some! And it gets played with by vivi too who likes opening and closing the windows!
My mum will hate me for saying this but Amelie is such a little mummy! She is always following me and helping me clean, and she loves to look after Vivienne. I got her a buggy and baby of her own and we go out for walks and such and she loves to look after her. I thought it would be good to have as I can see Amelie being all over the new baby when she arrives! I’m happy with whatever my girls want to be when they grow up (obviously that’s not counting strippers, porn stars or drug dealers) but I would love for them to be married and have babies and get to enjoy life in the home. Then I can go round and see them all the time and I have an excuse not to get a job ever because my daughters will need me! Haha! Sorry mum!!
The cake. Chocolate fudge inside, horse and daisy on the outside as per Amelie’s request. The horse is modelling chocolate and it’s the first time I used it. Quite proud of myself!
NESTING. Capital letters means new topic.
In other news, I have been nesting a go go.
‘A’ and heart cupcakes for Amelie’s preschool.
An autumn fireplace.
Keeping warm and putting my feet up.
That’s about it really. We are all awaiting the arrival of baby number 5 and then lots of family visits during half term week.
Luis and maxi still play football, as is mr Clev. Amelie is settled at preschool. Vivi is enjoying being the baby still, AND has taken some independent steps. We actually have put her in some really heavy bottomed shoes and I think that has helped slightly.
On the cards for this week…
More nesting, Luis is off to see Ireland vs Kazakhstan with his granddad, maxi has a project to complete this week, preschool for Amelie and the looming due date….there has to be a baby soon right?!!
